The collection contains research documents assembled by Northup while writing his book, Frank Lloyd Wright in Michigan. The bulk of the collection consists of correspondence (photocopies) between Wright and his clients, and correspondence between Northup and Wright's clients or the current owners of the homes. A few photographs and blueprints documenting Wright's Michigan projects complete the collection.
